Regulatory and compliance disclosures for Powerhouse Funding.
Effective date: May 16, 2026
Lender licensing
Powerhouse Funding is a commercial lender. NMLS ID: NMLS_ID_PLACEHOLDER. State licensing varies; we currently originate or facilitate small business financing in the following states: STATE_LIST_PLACEHOLDER. Loans in some states are made through partner lending institutions. A current state-by-state list of licenses, registrations, and authorizations is available on request.
Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) notice
Powerhouse Funding is an equal opportunity lender. The federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract), because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program, or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The federal agency that administers Powerhouse Funding's compliance with this law is the Federal Trade Commission, Equal Credit Opportunity, Washington, DC 20580.
Credit inquiries
Powerhouse Funding uses a soft credit inquiry to evaluate initial applications. Soft inquiries do not impact your credit score and are not visible to other lenders. A hard credit inquiry — which may temporarily affect your credit score and remain on your credit report for up to two years — is only conducted after you accept a final offer of credit.
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you have the right to obtain a free copy of your credit report from each nationwide consumer reporting agency once every twelve months at annualcreditreport.com, to dispute inaccurate information directly with the consumer reporting agency, and to receive notice if information from a credit report is used to take an adverse action against your application. We will provide a Notice of Adverse Action if we decline to extend credit based in whole or in part on information in a credit report.
SMS / text messaging program
By providing a mobile phone number and consenting to SMS communications, you agree to receive text messages from Powerhouse Funding regarding your application, account, and related services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Terms of credit offers
Any indicative terms shared during application review are estimates and subject to underwriting. Final terms — including loan amount, rate, fees, payment, and collateral requirements — are disclosed in writing in the loan agreement before any funds are disbursed. No loan is binding until the agreement is executed by both parties.
Where state law requires a specific commercial financing disclosure format — including California (SB 1235), New York (Commercial Finance Disclosure Law), Utah, Virginia, Connecticut, Georgia, and Florida, among others — the disclosure is delivered alongside the offer in compliance with applicable law.
No deposit insurance / not a bank
Powerhouse Funding is a non-bank commercial lender. We do not accept deposits. Funds we lend are not insured by the FDIC or any other federal or state agency. All financing products are for commercial and business purposes only. We do not originate consumer credit of any kind.
How we are compensated
Powerhouse Funding earns the interest and fees on the loans we make. We are not paid a referral fee or commission by a third party for the financing we extend. The all-in cost of any offer — interest rate or APR, origination, and any other fees — is disclosed in writing in the offer letter and loan documents. Review all documents carefully before signing.
No financial, legal, or tax advice
Nothing on this website is intended as financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, or accounting advice. Commercial financing decisions can have significant short and long term effects on your business. Consult your own qualified advisors before entering into any financing arrangement.
